A Truly Memorable Experience

Commencing in September, we provide dedicated partridge drives over the rolling North Hampshire Downs. A typical day comprises 300 birds over 4 drives and provides a fantastic way to start your game shooting season. This is very good classic partridge shooting and well received by our visiting teams.

Pheasant shooting starts in October, which provides the opportunity to shoot either dedicated partridge days or mixed Pheasant/Partridge days where the teams have great fun meeting the challenge of both Pheasant and Partridge in the air at the same time. - "now which did you say was the faster bird?"

Shoot day hospitality must match the quality of the sport itself, and Steventon is well known as a friendly shoot with great hospitality. Teams typically meet at 9am to draw pegs before progressing to the field for two drives prior to in-field elevenses. A third drive follows before returning to the main house for drinks and lunch. After lunch, it's back to the field to conclude a fourth challenging drive and a fantastic day of sport. The day is completed with the presentation of game cards over tea and cake, prior to departure - "oven-readies in hand"!
